Mildred L. Ziegler

	Mildred L. Ziegler, age 91, of Pinckneyville, IL died at her son's home in Nashville, IL on October 5, 2004 at 7:27 p.m.
	She was born on May 11, 1913, in Pinckneyville, IL a daughter to Otto J. and Christina (Beck) Roethe. She married Rudolf H. Ziegler on October 2, 1937 in the Zion Lutheran Church in Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on February 9, 1979. She worked at the Pinckneyville Garment Factory before her marriage and then became a homemaker. She was actively involved in the Zion Lutheran Church of Pinckneyville, was a seamstress and enjoyed quilting and all types of needlework and for the past 54 years was a member of the Perry County Home Extension.
	Survivors include 3 sons: William O. and wife Marilyn of Lewisville, TX, David R. and wife Polly of O'Fallon, IL, and Mark F. and wife Deb of Nashville, IL, 1 brothers: Carl Roethe of Pinckneyville, IL, 2 sisters-in-law: Hilda Roethe of Pinckneyville, IL and Dorothy Roethe of Columbia, IL and 8 granchildren: William M., Michael R., Traci L., Lyndsey M., Christopher R., Bradley M. Ziegler, Alicia and huband Torrin Suedmeyer and Bethany and husband Colin Meisinger, 1 great-grandchild: Shea Suedmeyer.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 brothers: Herbert, Ervin and Walter Roethe, and 3 sisters-in-law: Edna, Edna and Isabelle Roethe.
	Funeral services were held in Zion Lutheran Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, October 8, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend John Smithley officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in DuQuoin, IL.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, October 7, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning at the church from 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m.
	Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church or Family Hospice of Belleville area.
